April 2026 Restricted Calling Dates

If your team handles outbound calls or text marketing, staying compliant with holiday calling restrictions is essential. DNC has just released the 2026 April Restricted Do Not Call Dates, and understanding them now can prevent major compliance headaches later.

Key U.S. Restricted Date

April 3rd – Good Friday
Calling is restricted in Louisiana and Pennsylvania.

April 24th – Arbor Day
Calling is restricted in only Nebraska*.

April 27th – Confederate Memorial Day

Why This Matters

Avoid costly violations: Non-compliance with Do Not Call rules—especially on restricted dates—can lead to significant penalties at both the state and federal levels.

Complex regulatory landscape: Federal TCPA rules may extend exemptions like Established Business Relationships (EBR), but state-specific holidays often introduce stricter restrictions.

Call strategy planning: Knowing short windows or full blackout days helps your team optimize call schedules and maintain trust.
